If you get into any trouble you'll be on your own, better not to take a job that's going to be difficult in any way and miss the block than for you to jeopardise yourself in anyway. They don't care about you, your safety or experience, no matter how much they try to make you to believe they do. So warning to everyone working for Amazon Flex, they only care about themselves and their image, delivering their parcels on-time etc. So from the job, I've had a loss of over £200. It was like the guy hadn't read my message at all, he had no concern whatsoever for all I'd been through. I got the most cynical response back with absolutely zero empathy, no answers to my questions and got given £8.78 adjustment and paid £61.50 for the job. Not to mention feeling extremely unsafe as I was delivering parcels in the middle of the night to farm houses in absolute pitch blackness and no other houses for miles apart, and through deserted windy country roads etc. I message Amazon Flex after I got home to explain what had happen and to ask what could be done to ensure this doesn't happen again.

I had tried contacting Amazon support several times throughout the whole process but got no response, or they had closed.

Not to mention being out of pocket by £300, exhausted etc.

Ended by getting back the next day at past midnight, spent over 20hrs away from home as had lots of issues with the car, disappointments with breakdown guys, delays with getting help, essentially a most horrendous ordeal. Then the next day get breakdown folks to tow my car to a charging point. Ended up getting stranded as car ran out of charge, had to get a taxi to a hotel in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere. I got sent to a remote area where there were no charging points for at least 30 miles, and so after my delivery, on my way back home, I was freaking out because my battery was low and no charging points anywhere, plus it was late at night. However, unfortunately for me, I have an electric car that's one of the older models, so not a great range, and so needed to charge on my way there (1hr) and back (1hr). This delivery was 1.5hrs drive each way, plus 1.5hrs for the actual delivery so altogether 4.5hr. Had a delivery block that was over 66miles away and like others have commented they only pay you for the time to get there and do the delivery but not for the time back home. Horrendous Experience, Zero Support, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU
